Olivier Leflaive have both their own Domaines as well as having close relationships with many of Burgundy’s top growers from whom they purchase either grapes or must. Some of these growers are ‘artists’ whose passion is as much their vines as their wines, a guarantee that Olivier Leflaive insists on when sourcing grapes, ensuring that the highest standards are met to uphold the reputation of the great vineyards and Climats of Burgundy. An almost imperceptible hint of SO2 blends with pretty and quite elegant aromas of ripe peach, pear and roasted hazelnuts that slide gracefully into rich, generous and plump medium-weight flavors that possess an attractively textured mouth feel, all wrapped in a solidly intense and persistent finish.
