2009 Mitolo Jester Cabernet Sauvignon

Twenty percent of the fruit for this wine is air dried in the traditional Amarone manner to concentrate the flavours. Opaque, black dark crimson red colour with deep, dark crimson red hue. The nose is a little muted with aromas of ripe, dark blackcurrant, dark chocolate and spice emerging. The palate is very full bodied and rich, filled with dark, ripe blackcurrant flavours followed by some liquorice, dark chocolate and spice. Fine grained, slightly dryish tannins with medium to long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, liquorice and spice.
