2009 Kalleske Eduard Old Vines Shiraz

Totally opaque black crimson colour with deep dark red black hue. The nose possesses excellent intensity with aromas of ripe blackberry, black plum and liquorice followed by some vanillin oak and confectionary notes. Densely concentrated and super rich the palate is packed with opulent blackberry and black plum flavours followed by some liquorice and chocolately toasty vanillin oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins compliment the wines plush supple texture. Very long ripe blackberry, plum, liquorice, toasty oak and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
