Matured in a combination of seasoned and new, French and American oak. Totally opaque black dark purple colour with deep black dark purple hue. Aromas of blackberry and plum as top notes followed by some dark chocolate followed by a touch of spice on the back palate. Very fine grained tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of blackberry, dark plum and dark chocolate.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2011-2015).
