2009 Gioiello Estate Old Hill Chardonnay

Matured for 12 months in French oak barriques. Brilliant pale straw greenish tinged colour with watery hue. On the nose white peach and cashew top notes are followed by some toastiness and a very faint hint of spice. Medium weight and quite creamy in texture the palate possesses flavours of delicate white peach and toasty oak followed by some spice with the toastiness persisting right through the finish. Aftertaste of toasty oak, some delicate white peach and spice.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
