2009 Chrismont La Zona Sangiovese

Deep dark crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose displays aromas of inky black cherry, spice and cedar with a hint of toast as an end note. Medium weight, showing excellent depth the palate displays fully ripened flavours of black cherries and dark plum followed by some spicy cedar and a touch of earth. Fine grained, slightly dryish but balanced tannins with aftertaste of dark cherry, spice and earthy cedar.
Cellar 1-2 years (2011-2012).
