2009 Chateau Cantenac Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

A blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernets. Opaque black dark crimson red colour with dark crimson red hue. The nose displays dark mulberry and violet top notes followed by some blackcurrant, earthy cedar and spice. Refined and elegantly constructed the palate nonetheless possesses good richness with flavours of blackcurrant, ripe mulberry, cedar, earth and spice. Very fine grained well integrated tannin structure. Long blackcurrant, mulberry, earth and spicy cedar aftertaste.
Cellar 5-8 years (2017-2020).
Alc 14.0%

Blueberry and mineral on the nose, with hints of fresh flowers. Full and layered, with superpolished tannins and a long finish. Solid as a rock.
