2009 Arboleda Cabernet Sauvignon

The Arboleda wines are generally new world in style possessing more fruit forward characters. This is a typical example. Opaque black crimson colour with dark crimson red hue. The nose displays tobacco infused blackcurrant top notes followed by some cedar, cigar box and spice. Full bodied the palate possesses rich, dark cherry and blackcurrant flavours with a tobacco overlay and some spicy cigar box characters on the back palate. Fine grained tannin structure. Excellent depth with long very persistent ripe blackcurrant, dark cherry and tobacco cigar box like aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years (2016-2017).
