2008 Zema Estate Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Maturation took place in predominately French oak for a period of 14 months. Totally opaque black crimson colour with very deep dark crimson red hue. Lifted aromas of blackcurrant, spearmint and cedar are followed by some light spice notes. Elegant and refined the palate displays flavours of ripe blackcurrant and mint with some underlying cedar and spice on the back palate. Very fine grained perfectly integrated tannin structure. Medium to long aftertaste of blackcurrant, subtle mint and spicy cedar.
Cellar 4-5 years (2015-2016).
