The vineyard is located on the southern most tip of Western Australia, West Cape Howe, where vintage conditions in 2008 were close to perfect - dry warm days and cool nights provided optimal ripening conditions. The delicious, early drinking Cabernet that resulted was matured in a combination of French and American oak for 18 months.

A surprise discovery!

Totally opaque black crimson colour with very deep dark crimson red hue. The nose is quite perfumed with lifted top notes of ripe blackcurrant and dark mulberry followed by some cedar and spice with underlying cigar box notes. The palate delivers a perfectly ripened flavour profile of blackcurrant, mulberry, cedar, tobacco and spice. Excellent richness and length with very fine grained perfectly balanced tannin structure. Long aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedar, tobacco and spice.A surprise discovery at this price point.
Cellar 3-4 years (2014-2015).
