An outstanding example of a rich concentrated Gewürztraminer.
Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinge and water like hue. Distinct lychee top note followed by some rose petals, tropical fruit, spice and musk displaying excellent intensity. Full bodied with mouthfilling concentrated flavours of lychee, ripe pear and spice with some quince and honeysuckle on the back palate. Excellent luscious mouthfeel. There’s some residual sugar present but the wine finishes relatively dry with a clean finish. Long aftertaste of lychee, honeyed pear and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2010-2014).
