2008 Sanguine Estate Tempranillo

An excellent example of fully ripened Australian Tempranillo.
Matured in French oak for 20 months, of which 10% was new, this wine displays an opaque, very deep, dark red colour with deep, dark red hue. The nose displays perfumed aromas of dark cherries, dark chocolate, a touch of liquorice and spice. Full bodied, very concentrated and rich the palate is filled with dark fruit flavours of black cherry, dark plum and dark chocolate followed by a spicy back palate. Dry finish but fine grained tannin structure with a long aftertaste of black cherry, dark chocolate and spice. Drink over next 2-3 years (2011-2014)
