2008 Grampians Estate Streeton Reserve Shiraz

Aged in French and American oak for 18 months. Totally opaque black purple colour with deep dark purple crimson red hue. The nose exhibits an aromatic profile of liquorice, blackberry and dark plum followed by some smoky oak and black pepper. Rich mouthfilling flavours of blackberry and liquorice with some subtle smoky vanillin oak and a spicy blackpepper back palate. Velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice, subtle toasty oak and blackpepper.
