Outstanding totally opaque inky black colour with very deep black crimson red hue showing excellent saturation and glass cling. Exhibiting good intensity the nose displays lifted scents of ripe blackberry and liquorice followed by some dark chocolate, confectionary and spice. Possessing great concentration and richness along with a plush fleshy mouthfeel the palate boasts flavours of ripe blackberry and liquorice followed by some black plum, toasty cedar and spice. Fine grained tannins showing excellent integration with very long aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice, toasty cedar and spice.
