2007 Spring Hills Merlot

This ripe plummy Merlot was matured in a combination of French and American oak for 20 months. Opaque dark red crimson colour with dark mauve hue. Lifted aromas of ripe plum, liquorice, vanilla and confectionary. The palate is full bodied with rich ripe plummy mulberry flavours followed by some liquorice allsorts and spice. Soft tannin structure with aftertaste of ripe plum and spice.
