2007 Kurtz Family Vineyards Seven Sleepers Siebenschlaffer Shiraz

Deep dark red colour, slightly cloudy, with dark red mauve hue. The nose displays aromas of stewed fruit, plum and leather. Medium weight the palate displays a soft texture with flavours of dark plum, liquorice, leather and spice. Soft very fine grained tannins although slightly dryish. Aftertaste of plummy liquorice, leather and spice.
Drink now (2011).
