2007 was another strong vintage for Aconcagua with low yields and the harvest delayed for 10–14 days allowing the grapes to reach good levels of maturity. Ripe phenolics, rich favours and sweet tannins characterise this Merlot, which was subsequently matured for 12 months in new oak barrels, 87% French and 13% American.
