2006 Terrazas de los Andes Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon

Terrazas de Los Andes is owned by the French Champagne house Moet & Chandon. The wine was matured in a combination of 80% French oak and 20% American oak barrels of which one third were new, one third one year old and one third two year old barrels for a period of 12 months.

Opaque black purple colour with black purple hue – outstanding super saturated colour. Aromas of black olive, ripe blackcurrant juice and dark chocolate followed by a touch of earth. Full bodied palate with ripe blackcurrant and dark cherry flavours followed by dark chocolate and spice all encompassed in a firm dry tannin structure. Aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, dark cherry, spice and cedar.
