2006 Quinta do Ameal Vinho Verde Loureiro

Made from the Spanish Loureiro grape variety, this wine displays bright straw colour with over a layer of pale gold and green. Top note of pear, followed by baked apple, spice and confectionary. The palate has good weight, with a lemon tang as a backbone. Flavours of pear and confectionary. Clean finish. Aftertaste of lemon, unripe pear and confectionary.
