2006 Paracombe Shiraz

Matured for 20 months in French Oak. Totally opaque black crimson colour with deep, very dark red hue. Lifted aromas of dark plums and ripe blackberries are followed by some confectionary and a hint of chocolate bullets. Full bodied with rich, ripe, succulent flavours of blackberry, liquorice and plum, with some confectionary and black pepper on the back palate. Super fine grained tannins provide the wine with a velvety texture. Aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice, confectionary and black pepper.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2010-2013).
