2006 Mildara Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine has been successfully reinvented for the third year in a row and delivers strong varietal flavours and great value. The alcohol is at 15.0% which accounts for the generous ripe flavour profile and absence of green fruit. Outstanding black purple colour with a black purple hue and excellent cling to glass walls. Superb nose of cassis, blackcurrant and violet. The palate reveals flavours of blackcurrant, spice, cassis and white pepper over a background of chocolate. Fine dryish tannins. Very long aftertaste of blackcurrant and spice.
