This wine has been made entirely from the Loureiro grape and is produced in the parish of Ponte de Lima which is said to predate the country itself – Portugal being established in 1143. Bright pale straw colour with water like hue. Top note of spice, followed by a touch of tropical fruit and a hint of lychee. On the palate there is a touch of lemon with a light unripe pineapple twist. Crisp finish. Fresh lemon aftertaste.
