2005 Houghton Wisdom Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Perfumed nose, top note of violet, followed by cedar, blackcurrant and spice, showing classic lifted Cabernet nose. Flavours of blackcurrant and cassis, followed by some dusty background texture. Fine grained tannins. Fine, spicy back palate, followed by a long, spicy blackcurrant aftertaste.
