2004 Domaine Pinson Premier Cru Chablis Mont de Milieu

Wine lovers who taste the wines of Chablis find it difficult to comprehend that the wines are made from the Chardonnay grape. These wines bare no resemblance to the big fruit filled Chardonnays produced in Australia and other parts of the New World. Rather, they possess a flint / mineral like quality.

Very pale straw colour with youthful green tinge. Aroma of confectionary, spice and unripe pear. Austere palate, supported by a crisp acid backbone. Mineral, flint like palate structure with dry, quince flavours. Mineral, flint like aftertaste.
