2004 Devil's Lair Chardonnay

Bright straw pale gold colour with pale straw hue. The nose displays lifted aromas of white peach, toasty oak, roasted almonds and spice with a just a hint of nougat as an end note. The palate has filled out and is beginning to become a touch broad with mouthfilling flavours of white peach, toasty oak, almonds, light honeycombe and spice. Soft creamy texture with medium to long aftertaste of toast, almond and spice.
Drink now (2011).
