2003 Forester Estate Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Bright pale straw colour. The nose is very delicate with subdued notes of unripe gooseberry and tropical fruit followed by a faint herbaceous end note. The palate flavours are light and do not reflect at all on the varietal character that these grapes are capable of delivering. Soft acid finish. Delicate gooseberry, herbaceous aftertaste.
