2003 Evans & Tate Margaret River Shiraz

An elegant style of Shiraz, typical of the style emerging from Margaret River. Bright crimson colour with crimson hue. Medium body. Aroma of plum, spice and stewed fruit, delivering varietal character without the force of say Barossa or McLaren Vale. On the palate flavours of plum, spice, blackberry and black cherry emerge. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance. Long aftertaste of vanilla, plum, cherry and confectionary.
