2003 Evans & Tate Margaret River Chardonnay
Bright pale straw colour. Aroma of butterscotch, cinnamon, spice, yeast lees and cashew. The palate shows pronounced butterscotch character followed by spice, melon and tropical fruit. There are hints of biscuit and yeast lees emerging on the back palate. Clean acid finish, but generally lacking depth and complexity of flavour.
