This wine, unlike the genuine examples from Germany and Canada has been produced by cryro extraction rather than naturally occurring event of picking frozen grapes from the vines. The principals are the same, the sweet grapes are harvested very ripe and frozen quickly, the water is then spun off in a centrifuge, leaving behind a rich concentration of very sweet grape juice. 2002 was one of the coolest years on record in the Yarra Valley, which allowed for a long ripening period.

Brilliant deep straw colour. Aroma of honey, hints of toffee, followed by a touch of lemon. The palate has a luscious texture, however whilst being sweet is quite short. Flavours of lemon and honey emerge but surprisingly without the concentration of imported Eisweins. Soft acid finish followed by a hint of honey and raisins on the aftertaste.
