Yet another very successful new release from the 2001 vintage. Made from a blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Brilliant, pale straw colour. Fresh aromatic nose, very pungent, with strong herbaceous, capsicum asparagus notes. The palate is generous with again the herbaceous character dominant. There is persistence, but missing the kind of super intensity that the blend can deliver on occasions – but none the less, there is plenty of flavour. Crisp acid finish, followed by long, grassy, herbaceous aftertaste. Cellar 1-2 years.
