This wine is comprised of 63% Cabernet and 37% Merlot. The fruit has been sourced from various locations on the central coast including, Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and MontereyCounty. Medium body brick red colour with sienna brown hue, showing advanced development. The nose is again very advanced, aroma of leather, cedar and spice followed by tea leaf end note. The palate fruit has faded – dryish tannins. Aftertaste of cedar, truffle and leather.

First tasting, September 2004:
The blend is composed of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon and 37% Merlot. Very deep crimson mauve colour, with deep mauve crimson hue. Aroma of spice, mulberry, blackcurrant, violets, truffles and confectionary. The palate reveals flavours of stewed plum, spice, and blackcurrant, over a background of confectionary and cedar. Fine dryish tannins. Aftertaste of stewed plum, spice and confectionary, with dry tannins persisting.
