2001 Frankland Estate Isolation Ridge Shiraz

Deep crimson colour with brick red hue. The nose reveals nuances of new leather, cedar, spice, plum and stewed fruit. The palate is reasonably straight forward, there is competence but little excitement. Vanilla, plum, spice and stewed fruit flavours emerge. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, mocca and some white pepper emerges.
