A Shiraz that displays distinct regional character. Very deep crimson colour with mauve hue. The nose is impressive revealing aromas of plum and spice followed by vanilla, dark chocolate and liquorice. The palate has good weight and mouthfeel with flavours of dark chocolate and liquorice persisting with a hint of tarriness and a touch of oak. Fine grained, soft tannins, excellent balance, followed by a long inky, dark chocolate liquorice aftertaste.
