Made from 100% Montepulciano grapes. The wine has spent 11 months in oak. Deep crimson colour with mauve crimson hue. Aroma of spice, dark cherry and spice, followed by a hint of confectionary. Excellent weight with palate flavours of cherry, spice, violets and prune. Fine grained tannins, dryish with aftertaste of violets, cherry and spice.
