1999 Russolo 'I Legni' Cabernet Doc

Grape variety: 60% Cabernet Franc and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Region: In the vicinity of the town of San Quirino (Friuli Occidentale) in the north eastern region of Friuli. The vineyard consists of 45 hectares.
Production: Wine is fermented in steel tanks at a controlled temperature before being placed in small French oak casks, namely Troncais and Nievres. After the wine is bottle it is rested in the bottle for six months before release.
Characteristics: Rich, ruby red in colour with hints of red brick. A fine delicate perfume with scents of grass. The palate is dry with good body and warm elegant tannins.
Serve: at room temperature
