1999 Mitchelton Vineyard Series Crescent Shiraz Mouvedre Grenache

Medium body crimson colour, with mauve edges. The nose is restrained with aroma of liquorice, spice and blackberry emerging. Soft palate structure, somehow, missing out on the layers of complexity that the blend is capable of delivering. Fine grained soft tannins. Cellar 3-4 years.

Medium body, crimson colour with deep mauve hue. Aroma of earth, leather, plum and spice. On the palate, the fruit flavours drop off dramatically, leaving a very firm tannic grip, with faint glimpses of spice and blackpepper flavours.
Cellar 3-4 years (2005-2006) and hope for the best - we're not convinced that much will happen!
