A combination of winemaking techniques are used to produce a final blend with complexity and balance. These include cold maceration before fermentation, inclusion of stalks and whole bunches, hot fermentation (28-32°C), and barrel fermentation. Components remained separate until final blending. Minimal handling and filtration was adopted to preserve fruit flavour.

Medium red with purple hues, the 1999 Windy Peak Pinot Noir exhibits complex cherry, Pinot fruit aromas with subtle oak influences. Rich and soft, maximising varietal fruit, the palate offers strawberry and spice flavours balanced by soft tannins, adding texture and length. This wine is made for immediate enjoyment or can be cellared for 2-3 years. 13.0% alcohol volume.
