A blend of Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache which has been aged in French and American oak. Opaque, vibrant crimson colour with mauve edges. Rhone like nose, with aroma of blackberry, raspberry, spice and earth, with a hint of vanilla and liquorice end notes. The palate flavours are not as intense as the nose suggests, but are supported by fine, firm tannins. Flavours of raspberry, truffle and earth are dominant. Well balanced, followed by spice and blackpepper aftertaste. Cellar 3-4 years.
