1998 Yarra Valley Hills Kia Yallambee Chardonnay

Bright straw colour. Butterscotch, melon and yeast lees nose with a hint of grapefruit. The palate is a little dilute with nutty butterscotch and grapefruit palate flavours dominant, followed by a hint of spicy oak. Good depth, but without power. Delicate subtle flavours, with clean acid, followed by a hint of grapefruit. A delicate style with subtle use of oak. Cellar 3-5 years.
