A well made youthful wine, with distinct minty characteristics. Very deep, crimson colour. Excellent nose with aroma of blackcurrant, cedar, truffle and earth. On the palate the flavours are a touch lighter than the nose suggests, dominate by a mint, blackcurrant and spice palate. Good weight with peppery back palate, supported by fine grained tannins and a spicy pepper aftertaste. Cellar 3-4 years.
