Very deep crimson colour. Aromas of vanilla, spice, confectionery, blackcurrant and chocolate with just a trace of tea leaf. On the palate the flavours of blackcurrant, tobacco, tea leaf and cedar emerge. Good palate weight with excellent balance, being supported by fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of cedar and blackcurrant with that menacing trace of tea leaf reappearing. Cellar 3-4 years.
