Why Julius Riesling? Well the name apparently belongs to arelative - a Julius Henschke who was an artist and sculptor -interesting - but no arty label, just the plain black Henschke .Maybe next year! This is an attractive Eden Valley Riesling, that already displays considerable developed character. Brightpale straw colour. The nose displays some excellent honeyedovertones, which one would expect to find in a 5 year oldriesling - however, it's very attractive. On the palate thehoneyed toast characteristics continue to dominate over the limeand citrus background notes to be enhanced by some spicy floralovertones. Clean crisp acid levels and long toasty honeyaftertaste. Drink over the next 2-3 years.\Z
