The 1992 appears to be the ripest of the three Pinot Noir tasted, and also showing the most bottle developed character. Deep crimson colour with brownish edge. The deepest colour of the three Pinots. The nose is a touch restrained, but yields aroma of game, earth and stewed fruit. On the palate some very ripe flavours emerge, giving the wine a touch of sweet porty character, which is reinforced by the warm alcohol finish. Hints of leather and game, with velvet smooth tannins and long stewed fruits aftertaste.
