1986 Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon

A wine that is still holding up exceptionally well. Medium weight crimson colour and very concentrated. On the nose some bottle developed leathery aromas are beginning to emerge, yet their remains strong fruit character on the nose and palate. The dusty Cabernet aromas are well supported by cedar and blackcurrant, however, remain a little subdued. On the palate ripe plum, spice and cedar flavours offer a generous mouthfeel and excellent length. Fine grained tannins softening out, followed by long warm spicy aftertaste.
