1967 Wynns Coonawarra Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

A medium brick red colour with crimson hues. There is slight volatile acidity to the nose but not enough to spoil the spice and sweet blackcurrant jam aromas. The palate is sweet, rich and alive, almost porty with substantial flavours of plum and liquorice. The finish starts in a similarly substantial way yet fades slightly leaving chalky almost drying tannins. A nice wine but beginning to lose definition.

Level: Just into neck. Loose capsule.
