2021 Mandala Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw to straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Attractive white peach, dried honey and cashew scents drift through the nostrils followed by some biscuity nougat and spicy crème brulee notes. The mid weighted, gently creamy palate features white peach, pear and dried honey flavours over a back drop of cashew, biscuity nougat and spice characters. Finishes with a nicely balanced freshness and a lingering, texturally rounded conclusion.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

Barrel fermented on solids in French oak, 25% new with a small portion going through mlf. Bright gold. Apricots, dried pear and a little fresh vanilla bean can be found in this wine, which has good depth and and a gentle creaminess through the mid palate. It finishes well and is a wine to enjoy now and over the next 2 years.
