2021 Chateau Tanunda The Chateau Bethanian Shiraz

Matured in new and seasoned French and American oak barrels for 18 months. Dense black as night colour with a very deep black dark red hue. Aromas of black cherry and liquorice have a smoked meat and pepper overlay with some earthy black olive notes also evident. Rich liquorice and black cherry fruits meld into smoky vanillin cedar, earthy black olive and blackpepper characters. Relatively tight in its feel yet plush it has fine yet slightly firmish tannins and concludes with a generous smoked meat, black olive and blackpepper infused aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
