Totally opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of dark cherries and red liquorice have a leathery overlay with some red raspberry, earth and spice notes also present. Mid weighted red to dark cherry and raspberry fruits meld into a leathery back drop of earth and spice. Chewy mouthfeel with slightly robust tannins and a leathery red to dark fruited finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Other Reviews….
Tempranillo, grenache and touriga. In stroll the cool-kid regions: Fruit was sourced from across Margaret River, Geographe, Swan Valley and Frankland River. Epic tension and concentration in the mouth. This is savoury and sweet, with layers of spice (star anise, licorice root, aniseed, black pepper, tobacco leaf), fruit (blackberry, blood plum, raspberry) and flowers (violets, lavender and black rose petals). Another cool release of La Chingadera.
