Magnificent impenetrable inky black heart with a dark red black tinged hue. Wafting out of the glass are intense black cherry, liquorice and blackberry aromas which are followed by some vanillin cedar, scorched earth and peppered meat notes. Rich and beautifully structured, seductive black cherry, blackberry and liquorice flavours overlay vanillin cedar, traces of fennel, dried meats and peppered earth characters. Ripe chewy tannins lend a muscular feel to what is otherwise an opulently fruited palate. Fantastic power and concentration for the price with a long, robust yet juicy, blackpepper laced finish.
