2015 Derwent Estate Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinctive greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. Delicate aromas of white peaches, nectarines and grapefruit are overlaid by characters of gun flint followed by biscuit, citrus and spice. Very fresh and elegant with a faint creaminess to the mid palate, flavours of white peaches, nectarines and subtle grapefruit marry into dried honey, biscuity oak and light flinty elements. Clean dry finish with vibrant acidity and along aftertaste of white peaches, nectarines, dried honey, citrusy nougat, light biscuity oak and traces of gun flint.
